Friday the 27th of February 2015 saw the official launch of Scuba For Changes first dive centre at Sunset at Aninuan Beach Resort, Puerto Galera, Philippines.

SFC Chairman Mike McGuiness and SFC board member Phil Enright joined General Manager Karl to welcome guests and friends from the resort and the Stairway foundation to cut the ribbon and take the Scuba For Change journey into its next phase.

Kids and Founders from The Stairway Foundation, Sunset Resort owners Lexy and Mark were invited to help celebrate the business launch.

As a great portion of our profits will be used to fund programmes run by The Stairway Foundation to help end child exploitation, we thought it would be fitting or the kids from Stairway to help decorate our dive centre (see the wall painting) and their art work will be on display.

We are now officially open for business and will begin by training some of the Stairway foundation volunteers with their PADI Open Water diver courses.

We are very proud to be associated with  The Stairway Foundation and to be operating within the wonderful settings of Sunset at Aninuan Resort.

We hope to see you at our dive centre soon. Remember, with our unique social enterprise model, every single dollar of profit generated, is reinvested back into the community in a sustainable way to create positive and lasting legacies.
